She calls it "her first attempt at trying to love a squirrel." She does pretty well until it actually starts eating out of her hand, then she just straight up flips out. It's so funny to watch. This is a classic piece of viral video history. I've actually done this before.
Some squirrels are friendly
You can actually feed them pretty well; it's not that hard. You just have to be really careful and try not to scare them away. I once fed a squirrel French fries, right out of my hand! I used to have a pet squirrel named Buckwheat as well. Animals are awesome.
